AFC Urgent Care Short Hills offers camp physicals for patients just minutes from Millburn, Summit and Springfield, NJ:

At AFC Urgent Care Short Hills, it is our goal to provide safe, affordable, and accessible medical care for all patients. Sport and Camp Physicals are available for children participating in recreational sport leagues, summer camps, and more. Pending COVID-19 policies, some leagues may reopen for participation and requires a COVID-friendly facility to safely perform a physical: that is where AFC Short Hills comes in.

Each year, millions of children and teenagers participate in organized sports at school or in the community. To avoid being injured on the field, court, or track, it’s important that your young athlete see one of our providers for a physical exam before they suit up. In many cases, it is required.

The objectives of a pre-participation exam (PPE) are to assess the athlete’s present fitness level, evaluate any existing injuries, and detect conditions that may predispose them to new injury.

Summer Camp Physicals in Short Hills, NJ

Just like the PPE for sports and recreational leagues, your children will likely need one to participate in summer camp and summer-hosted recreational activities.

A PPE is required to help ensure that your children can safely participate without any major injury or illness risks during their activity. Safety is paramount as children and teenagers can often be exposed to illness and injury during summer camp.

However, a healthy physical and healthy child should mean that your child can safely participate. Just get your PPE completed at our urgent care center.
